Sales Tax Exemption

PES will honor sales tax exemptions subject to the following conditions:

A.    PES will calculate sales taxes and process exemptions based on current state law.

B.    It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a valid, up-to-date and accurate certificate of exemption.  PES will not provide credits or refunds for taxes charged prior to receiving a valid certificate.

C.    Certificates must be current and clearly describe the type of exemption claimed.

D.    PES will accept only official documentation provided by the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
